Donald Joseph Qualls (also known as DJ Qualls) is a fashion actor and model hailing from the United States. After gaining fame through his roles as a character in Road Trip he has since appeared in over 20 feature films such as The New Guy Hustle & Flow and The Core. As well as appearing in Breaking Bad Supernatural, Scrubs as well as Scrubs, Lost Law & Order as well as many others. Qualls had been diagnosed as having Hodgkin's Lymphoma at age 14, and has battled it ever since. Two years after treatment, the cancer is now in the process of remission. His body was severely affected by the treatment and his development was slowed down. As he got older, financial security seemed to be his ultimate goal as his experience with poverty had been a part of his childhood. When he was interviewed, he stated that if I don't have money security or have a feeling of being out of touch with the world I will feel miserable. In the course of an interview, he also reflects on his own growing up. He is determined to end bullies. His experience of being a victim breaks his heart. DJ's ideal role is to play a father figure in reel as well as in actual life. But, he admits that directors don't usually cast him for those types of jobs. In the future, he'd love to have a kid in order to be able to dedicate less time on his career and more time to his baby.
