Winona-Ryder
Winona Laura Horowitz, professionally referred to by the name Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. Her name was chosen by her parents in honor of the town where she grew up. Her father Michel Horowitz and her mother Cynthia Palmer were authors and editors. Ryder is a self-described Jewish, is descended from Ryder's Jewish father. Uria Ryder is her younger brother. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are Ryder's half-siblings. Ryder was born in the United States and moved with her family members to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. The town didn't even have electricity. Ryder, who was an avid reader when she was 12 became a book worm due to the fact that Ryder had no access to television. Ryder aged 12 enrolled at the American Conservatory Theatre for acting classes in 1983. Lucas was released in 1986 and Ryder, then barely 15 years old, landed the role of a leading actress. Ryder was subject to bullying in high school. She thought that by becoming an actor her behaviour could be reduced. However, it didn't come happen. The actress continued to chase her goals. Her biggest break occurred in the year 1988, when Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder had a successful role in numerous films. In 1993 she won an Academy Prize in the film The Age of Innocence.
