Summer Glau was an American actress, best famous for her role as River Tam in Firefly, a critically acclaimed television series. She also played Cameron as Cameron in Terminator. Sarah Connor Chronicles. Also, she has appeared on Angel Cold Case The Big Bang Theory Chuck, Hawaii Five-0 and The 4400. Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . She was the youngest of three children born to Marcela and Abraham Quintanilla. When Selena was eight, she started a career in a band created by her father. Selena was a part of her older siblings Abraham Junior who was on the bass guitar; sister Suzette was playing the drums. Selena performed as the lead singer. Selena Y Los Dino, the band she performed with was named Selena Y Los Dino. She would also perform in wedding fairs as well as restaurants. The band was very time consuming for Selena and her family, which is why they never had much of an early childhood, but they were pushed to become determined musicians thanks to their perseverance by Abraham, their dad. Abraham. Abraham senior was also a member of Los Dinos' original band, played the guitar. Selena Y Los Dinos formed officially in the year 1981. It was a family's business, and also the principal source of income for the Quintanilla family. The Quintanilla family were determined to succeed despite the hard times and a financial difficulties initially. Selena Y Los Dinos became well-known in the western states towards the end of the 1980s. Selena's first breakthrough came in the year 1986, when she was awarded prizes for Female Vocalist of the Year and as a Performer of The Year at Tejano music Awards. Selena Y Los Dinos continued to win prizes of Tejano music awards, which led to their increasing notoriety and fame. They appeared on numerous programs in Spanish language, such as El Show De Johnny Canales Always On Sunday and Sabado Gigante.
