Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy SURESH (born on 17 October 1992) is a popular Indian actor. Keerthy appears in Tamil film and Telugu films along with a handful of Malayalam. She received the National Film Awards' Best Actress award for portraying Savitri the character in the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). She has also won three SIIMA Awards as well as the Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar Suresh is the actor Menaka G. Suresh's daughter. She began her career as a child performer at the beginning of 2000 and was back in films following her studies of fashion design. Her first leading role in Geethaanjali (2013 Malayalam). She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy signed her first Tamil projects in the year 2015, and began accepting projects out of Malayalam. While the film did not do well at the box-office the film she made her debut in was A. A. Vijay's romantic-comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2005), which she starred in alongside Vikramprabhu. Her busy schedule throughout 2015 meant that she had to opt out of films that she was already working on, including Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Deekay's Kavalai Vendam, to be able to make room for larger projects. In the end, she worked on two films, Rajini Murugan followed by Remo featuring Sivakarthikeyan. Dhanush also played in the role of Thodari in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. But, the movie has been being delayed from 2015 with speculation of a release date after September 2020 under a name change to Janakitho Nenu. In 2016, Nenu Sailaja, starring Ram Pothineni, was her debut. Keerthy played the lead role in Bairavaa directed by Bharathan and starring actor Vijay.
